Twin Baby Girls Fighting for Life – Please Help Their Widowed Mom

On January 12, 2026, Arianna and Zarianna were born 9 weeks too early. They are now fighting for their lives in the NICU. Their mother Yam faces this battle alone – and without health insurance.

The Situation

Yam (Miriam), a 30-year-old widow from Cebu, Philippines, is facing every parent’s worst nightmare. Her premature twin girls require intensive care at Chong Hua Hospital – but in the Philippines, there is no universal health insurance. Every single peso must be paid out of pocket.

Estimated total cost: ₱1.7–2 million ($26,000–30,000 USD)

Yam has already sold her car – her only possession of value – just to pay the first bills. She has nothing left.

A Mother Who Has Lost So Much

This is not the first time Yam has faced tragedy:

  • 8 years ago: Lost her first daughter just 3 days after birth
  • 2021: Lost her husband to COVID-19, becoming a widow at 26
  • Now: Fighting for the lives of her premature twins

She has already buried a child and a husband. Please help her bring these two babies home.
